Poetry in Summer Internship

In August 2025, we decided to turn our focus toward a more concentrated impact. We headed to Choba, Port Harcourt, for a month-long intensive internship in partnership with Poetry Meets Children. We gathered 20 vibrant children and equipped them with the ultimate tools for change: storytelling, literature, and communication.

Throughout the summer, these young innovators honed their presentation skills and learned to wield their voices with purpose. The journey culminated in a challenge themed “The World Through Our Eyes.” The transformation was undeniable. From the confidence they displayed in their final presentations to the storytelling skills they now carry back into their classrooms. Today, we are proud to share that their collective work has been published and is available on Amazon for you to read.
